 麦当劳在欧盟区失去了 #巨无霸 这个商标,于是汉堡王在瑞典推出了同名产品。

The cheekily-named items are: Like a Big Mac, but Actually Big.
汉堡王这套贴脸推出的新品名叫:宛如巨无霸,大过巨无霸。

In true Burger king style, the 'beef' between the brands was created by creative agency INGO.
这真的是纯正的汉堡王作风,而两个品牌之间的这个猛料是由创意事务所INGO操刀的。

McDonald’s bid to trademark “Big Mac” in Europe went down the drain — and Burger King came at it with a whopper of a burn in response.
麦当劳的“巨无霸”商标在欧盟这就打水漂了,而汉堡王作为回应推出的是一款挑衅的皇堡。

A European court ruled last month in favor of an Ireland-based fast-food chain called Supermac’s and revoked McDonald’s registration of the trademark for its iconic burger.
欧洲的一个法院上个月刚刚给爱尔兰的一个叫Supermac’s的快餐连锁品牌开了绿灯,并且驳回了麦当劳给自家标志产品注册商标的申请。

In response, Burger King’s Swedish operation revamped its menu — with a whole section called “Not Big Mac’s.”
 作为回应,汉堡王的瑞典分支翻新了自己的菜单,推出了一整个叫“不是巨无霸”的系列。

The biting sign lists options for “Like a Big Mac but Actually Big,” “The Burger Big Mac Wished it Was” and “Anything but a Big Mac.”
其中可供选择的单品有“宛如巨无霸,大过巨无霸”、“巨无霸希望成为的汉堡”还有“反正不是巨无霸”。

“McDonald’s just lost its trademark for the Big Mac for suing a much smaller player … it’s too much fun for us to stay away,” said Iwo Zakowski, CEO of Burger King’s Swedish operation, according to the Guardian UK.
根据《卫报》英国版的报道,汉堡王瑞典分支的CEO艾沃·查科夫斯基说:“麦当劳刚刚和一个体量小得多的对手打官司打输了,并且因此失去了自己的商标……如果我们不介入就太不好玩了。”
